Aristotle left many writings. He was the first to divide and subdivide the areas of enquiry_- the first to attempt a classification of knowledge.

Andronicus of Rhodes put Aristotle’s treatises into order about 50 BC. He placed a series of writings after the PHYSICS and called them META-PHYSICS (literally AFTER-Physics)
